SYA Football Competes in the Colonial Youth Football League (CYFL)

Levels of play for SYA Football are defined as follows:

ROOKIE (Instructional Flags) – ages 4 and 5 as of September 1

FLAGS (Competitive Flags) – ages 6 and 7 as of September 1

JUNIOR VARSITY (100 lb Tackle) – ages 8 and 9 as of September 1 with a 130 lb. weight cap

VARSITY (120 lb Tackle) ages 10, 11 and 12 as of September 1 with 150 lb. weight cap(Limited to Fifth and Sixth Grade)
